Eases muscle tension
Cold water may help soothe post-exercise soreness and support recovery.
Named after a quiet village on the edge of the Atlantic, where the water is cold and nobody's in a rush.
Stuck indoors, worn out, and reaching for anything that might help us switch off properly. Hot showers didn't do it. Neither did another cup of coffee. What we kept coming back to was something simpler: heat, then cold, then quiet.
We started looking into where that idea actually came from, and it kept leading back to the same kind of place small coastal towns where people built this into daily life without making a fuss about it. Caloura, a village on São Miguel Island in the Azores, was one of them. Volcanic pools meeting the open sea. No wellness branding, no routine to optimise. Just something people did.
We think recovery should feel like that unhurried, and part of everyday life, not another thing to keep up with.
So we started building a small range of sauna and cold plunge products designed to bring a bit of that same rhythm home, wherever home happens to be.
WELCOME TO CALOURA
Moving between heat and cold isn't new. It's one of the oldest recovery habits there is we've just made it easier to do at home.

A warm-then-cool routine in the evening can help your body wind down naturally before bed.
No need for a big routine. A short session a few times a week is enough to notice the difference.
Evening sessions may support a better night's sleep, as your body naturally cools down afterwards.
